Handstands have helped me to face my fears by setting the mind, being present in the moment and believing in myself. We often have distracted minds, allowing thoughts to take us away from the moment. Believing that our lives, or we, will be better in another place or time. Handstanding has taught me to focus on the here and now, to continue to grow by challenging myself through my practice each day. Truly teleporting myself to the present and remaining there through focus and willpower and finding the balance between ease and effort.
